Australian Printstone with Clay Beads from Mali
I chose this stone because of the subtle bands of pale beige, peach, charcoal and lavender.
The pendant has three small handmade silver “flowers” attached with miniature brass screws located above the stone.
The Australian Printstone is surrounded by a scalloped silver bezel and the pendant is strung on 5 strands of cylindrical clay beads from Mali. The beige and tan colours in the clay beads are a perfect foil for those in the stone. This piece has a hinged bail so you can take the silver pendant off the clay beads and wear it on a separate chain.
